“You don’t have to do it alone. We were never meant to.” -Brené Brown
You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Therapy gives you the space and time to prioritize your well-being and explore what’s beneath the surface. These 50 minute one-on-one sessions provide you a personalized space to work towards your goals through a holistic lens and with evidence-based treatment modalities that will guide meaningful change.
Treatment Modalities Used:
-
Relational therapy sees relationships as the central component to emotional well-being and personal growth. It explores how past and present relationship dynamics shape a person’s sense of self and helps you develop more authentic and fulfilling relationships.
The client/therapist relationship itself can also be utilized as a tool, or mirror, into understanding your dynamics and relational patterns.
-
Attachment-based therapy focuses on understanding how early relationships with caregivers shape the way we connect, trust, and regulate emotions in adulthood. It helps you build healthier relationship patterns, learn to regulate your emotions, and works towards developing secure attachments within your current relationships and with yourself.
-
IFS is an approach that views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with their own feelings, beliefs, and roles that developed to protect us from pain.
The goal of IFS is to “befriend” the many parts of us and recognize the role they serve. By doing this, we can build self-awareness and address internal conflicts, leading to emotional regulation and be your authentic self.
-
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps you learn to identify and challenge unhelpful or distorted thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and realistic perspectives.
Through techniques and exercises, CBT supports you in developing coping skills, reducing distress, and creating meaningful behavioral changes in your daily life.
-
DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness to help manage intense emotions and improve relationships. It teaches skills in four key areas—mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness—supporting you in finding the balance between acceptance and change.
-
Somatic-based therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body, recognizing that emotional experiences are often held and expressed in the body. By bringing awareness to sensations, tension, and movement, we can access and release stored emotions, regulate our nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and presence in the body.
-
Mindfulness-based therapy integrates mindfulness practices to help develop present-moment awareness and a nonjudgmental attitude towards our thoughts and emotions. By learning to observe experiences rather than react to them, we can cultivate greater emotional regulation, self-compassion, and resilience in the face of stress.
My therapeutic values are integrated into every session because you deserve the best care.
-
We will address all aspects of yourself making connections between your mind, body, and environment to better understand the root causes of your struggles and create a more balanced and integrated path to healing.
-
Together we are a team, which means we will work together to identify goals and create a plan of action that feels right for you. By working together, this allows us to build a supportive and empowering relationship where you feel truly heard and involved in your healing process.
-
I use techniques and strategies that have been proven effective by research and application. These approaches help ensure that the work we do together is not only meaningful but also scientifically supported to provide positive and lasting change.
-
Creating a safe and supporting environment to process the most difficult experiences and emotions is my top priority.
How I Believe Change Happens in Therapy:
From my experience as both a therapist and a client, I believe that meaningful change in therapy unfolds gradually through awareness, connection, and practice. The therapeutic relationship provides a space to feel seen, understood, and supported while challenging perspectives and learning new coping skills. Yet true transformation often happens between sessions—through reflection, intention, and applying what’s been explored in session to daily life. It’s this ongoing process of insight, practice, and self-compassion that allows lasting growth and healing to take place.
