My fee per session is $150

As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill through insurance companies directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way. HSA/FSA are also accepted for payment.

To check if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking:

• Do I have out of network mental health benefits? If so, what percentage of each session is reimbursed?

• Are telehealth sessions eligible for reimbursement?

• What is my deductible for out of network coverage and has it been met?

• How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

In the beginning of the therapeutic process, I typically suggest attending sessions once a week or biweekly to build the therapeutic relationship and a good foundation. However, this is entirely up to you and we can work collaboratively on how often therapy might be helpful for you.

Many clients find value in a longer-term relationship, while others take breaks and return when new challenges or external circumstances arise. Every journey is different, and my goal is to provide support for however long you need.

Each session is 50 minutes long

During our first session together I typically focus on gathering your history and understanding important aspects of your story. This may take more than one session to cover. We will also review your goals and important focus points. As we go, I will continuously check in with you about how therapy is going and we will reassess your goals together.

I provide in-person sessions at my office in Shorewood, conveniently situated just a few blocks from UW-Milwaukee and with easy access from I-43 and I-94.

I also offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for anyone who lives in the state of Wisconsin.
